Signs Your Amarr Opener Logic Board Is Failing

• Remote works intermittently or only from very close range. The radio receiver on the logic board is degrading. DIY or Call Us?

There’s a safe middle ground here, and then there’s where DIY gets expensive.

What you can safely check: confirm the outlet has power, try the wall button with the remote batteries removed, and look for the diagnostic LED pattern in your Amarr manual. If the opener is plugged into a GFCI outlet, reset it. These steps rule out the obvious and take five minutes.

Where DIY goes wrong: the logic board carries line voltage even when the opener is unplugged, from stored charge in the capacitor.
